Forgetfulness and an associative process.

Forgetfulness is real for me, so I am going to go with it.

I find that forgetfulness isn’t about actually forgetting…for me ts’s about escaping.

I often want to escape…so choose to inadvertently forget….not always, but sometimes.

In I am Also, I give forgetfulness permission to exist and structure the work. I stay watchful for the associative process that follows. I use the associate process to structuring improvisation and let new materials arise or new memories surface.
